Tasha

2004 – December 2, 2013

Acquired June 19, 2008

My name is now Tasha. When I was at the Table Mountain Animal Center in Golden, Colorado, my name was “Jewel” and I was there with my friend “Jem.” While I was there, Petfinder.com placed the following description of me on their web site:

More About Jewel

My name is Jewel and I am a beautiful, sweet, loving female Siberian Husky. I came in with my “sister” Jem, #53299. We got here as strays, probably because we get bored easily and are smart enough to escape and look for adventure. If you can provide me (or both of us!) with a loving home, with lots of attention, exercise, and training, please visit with me today. I’d prefer to go to a home that is familiar with our breed, tolerant of our talkative nature, and an owner who is willing to provide us with the lifestyle we need and deserve. Consult with a staff member today!

My new owners spotted “Jem” and me on Petfinder.com and thought I looked so much like their dog, “Timber,” that they had to come visit Table Mountain Animal Center. I now have a new home and my new owners and “Timber” are Jem’s and my new friends. My new life started on June 19, 2008 when I was about 5 years old.

Jem and I are Wooly Coat Siberian Huskies, like “Timber.” You can find some information on this type of Siberian and see some pictures of other Wooly Coat Siberians at:

While I was in Silverton, Colorado with my new owners in July 2008, they took this video of me playing in a stream in Placer Gulch near Silverton, CO.

Tasha at Play – Silverton, CO – July 2008 (1 minute movie) Tasha plays in running water. She pounces on it as if it were something alive, and she digs in it. Timber wonders what all the fuss is about!
