November 1, and the cottonwood colors are still nice! This (mostly driving) trip took us through the Jemez and south of Jemez Springs to where there are lovely cottonwoods. We also took a short side trip up towards the old logging camp of Gilman and the railroad tunnels. That is a short, but very pleasant, side trip.
